Our latest paper, “Phage Therapy and Global Health Equity: Opportunities in the Era of Antibiotic Resistance”, is now officially out in the Annual Review of Virology! In this paper, we take an interdisciplinary approach to explore how phage therapy can advance global health and healthcare equity. We briefly review the history of phage therapy and recent clinical successes before explaining how it is well-suited to these goals. We end the paper with research objectives that aim to achieve these scientific and ethical goals.
